LIFT was started by high-schoolers in Durbanville, Cape Town, and it is still students who run it — the sessions, the book drives, the chapters, the spreadsheets. Nobody here is waiting to be old enough.

Every role on this page was filled by someone who volunteered first and figured it out second. If you can teach an hour, take a photo, write an email or run a book drive, that is the whole qualification.
